Role: PhD student
Bio: I grew up in St.Gallen (Switzerland) and did my bachelor and master’s degree at ETH Zurich. During my masters I started working with viruses in Ari Helenius’ lab. Then I worked in a small biotech startup company (Redbiotec) in Zurich for over a year, working with the baculovirus expression system and developing virus-like particles as vaccine candidates. In September 2014 is started the LMCB PhD Programme and currently I am doing a rotation in the Mercer lab.
