Bio: Born in Oxford, UK, grew up in rural Worcestershire. Did my undergraduate and Masters degrees at the University of Cambridge in Natural Sciences, with a specialism in Biochemistry. I did my PhD at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge with Dr. Leo James on Antibody Mediated Intracellular Immunty. I have now imaginatively moved to the MRC Laboratory of Molecular CELL Biology to work on a master antagonist of the immune system, vaccinia.
